Hey everyone and welcome to EasyGrinding.com.

The first post here will be about a quick and easy way to make a steady income of gold. This advice will work for both people who are at the level cap (I will just say level cap instead of the actual max level, since this will work whether the level cap is 80, 90 or 100).

What we first need to think about is that us WoW players can be quite lazy, we are used to everything being easy to get from either the AH or trade channel. And this is something you should always keep in mind when making gold. Even with flight paths and stuff going all over, we want to get things right away with as little travel or effort as possible.

Ok, that said let’s get to the first advice. In all the major cities in World of Warcraft you have vendors that sell enchanting supplies. These vendors sell both Strange Dust and Lesser Magic Essence. If you run past the auction house on your way to the enchanting supplier, you can quickly make a search for these items and you will see that most often they are being sold in big stacks. Strange Dust sells for about 7-8s from the vendor, and on my main server, 1 Strange Dust sell for about 30s. The prices for the Lesser Magic Essence are about the same from the vendor but can be slightly higher on the AH.

What you want to do when you put these things out on the auction house is to put them out one by one since people who need an enchant or are skilling enchanting might just need the one dust or essence and will pay a higher price, instead of having to buy an entire stack of materials. This is not a huge, fast money maker, but it will give you a steady stream of money coming in for very little effort.

Next advice is also of the reseller kind. With achievements for pets people are a bit pet-crazy which is good for your money. All major cities sell some form of pet for a low cost in silver, usually 40s. What you do is to put these out on the AH for a slightly higher price, like 1g or 1g50s. Most often people who don’t have the pet will prefer to buy it on the AH for a small increase in price instead of having to travel to buy the pet. This will help to keep the silver trickle into your purse until we can start with some of the “bigger” strategies.

Until next time, happy - and preferably easy - grinding!
